Vœux 2024 / 2024 Greetings

Savourer le présent

Le ciel déjà flamboie avant l’apparition du soleil, tel un tableau de Rothko. 

Ces couleurs sont-elles une menace, une promesse ? Peu importe, je profite du spectacle de l’Univers. Chaque instant devient ainsi un moment d’éternité, à déguster sans modération.

Pendant ce temps, le Monde est en guerre. Ce qui est illogique car nous sommes nés de poussières d’étoiles (Hubert Reeves) et l’intégralité de ce qui palpite sur notre planète provient d’une seule et unique cellule, baptisée Luca, pour Last Universal Common Ancestor. Les recherches sur Luca montrent que nous vivons en symbiose avec les autres communautés d’espèces. La moitié des milliers de milliards de nos cellules ne sont pas humaines.

Alors, que faire pour contribuer à la paix dans le monde ? Sans doute simplement être. Mais ce n’est pas si simple. Dans mon monde intérieur, seul avec moi-même, paradoxalement tout devient plus compliqué car je suis entre moi et moi-même séparé de moi par moi-même (auteur inconnu). 

Jean Guitton nous rappelle que « Les événements sont notre visage. Ce qui advient, c’est ce que nous sommes. Entre l’événement et moi, entre l’autre et moi, il y a le troisième terme, la relation. Je ne peux pas changer l’événement passé et je ne peux pas changer l’autre, tel qu’il est à un moment donné. Je ne peux que commencer à me changer moi-même, et ainsi changer la relation, la façon dont je la vis, et peut-être ainsi faciliter les changements extérieurs. ».

Une piste de recherche pour 2024, même si elle sommeille en nous depuis l’aube de l’humanité (Khalil Gibran) : développer la Paix et l’Amour en soi afin d’influencer le monde, en commençant par le proche et le prochain.

Voici mes vœux pour cette Nouvelle Année, en commençant par savourer le présent, le cadeau de chaque instant.

Enjoy the present

The sky is already blazing before the sun appears, like a Rothko painting.

Are these colors a threat, a promise? No matter, I enjoy the spectacle of the Universe. Each second thus becomes a moment of eternity, to be enjoyed without moderation.

Meanwhile, the world is at war. Which is illogical because we were born from stardust (Hubert Reeves) and all that pulses on our planet comes from a single cell, called Luca, for Last Universal Common Ancestor. Research on Luca shows that we live in symbiosis with other communities of species. Half of the trillions of our cells are not human.

So, what can we do to contribute to world peace? Probably just being. But it is not that simple. In my inner world, alone with myself, paradoxically everything becomes more complicated because I am between myself and myself separated from myself by myself (author unknown).

Jean Guitton reminds us that “Events are our face. What happens is what we are. Between the event and me, between the other and me, there is the third term, the relationship. I cannot change the past event and I cannot change the other, as he is at a given moment. I can only begin to change myself, and thus change the relationship, the way I experience it, and perhaps thus facilitate external changes."

A line of research for 2024, even if it has been dormant within us since the dawn of humanity (Khalil Gibran): develop Peace and Love within oneself in order to influence the world, starting with one's near and dear one.

Here are my wishes for this New Year, starting by savoring the present, the gift of each moment.
